A New York State Bar Association Approved Course Instructor, District VIII Ethics Past Committee Member and Officer, appointed by the N.J. Supreme Court, and the District VII Fee Arbitration Past Secretary for Mercer County, Judge Ostberg has been named General Practitioner of the Year and Young Lawyer of the Year by the NJSBA and was selected by the Texas Center for Legal Ethics and Professionalism for outstanding standards in the Practice of Law. Judge Ostberg has co-authored the Civil Trial Preparation, ICLE Trial Manual and Handbook for New Jersey Attorneys and authored dozens of articles and programming including the drafting of the proposed Appellate Court Opinions and the proposed Opinion on Do-It-Yourself Kits which was adopted by the New Jersey Supreme Court. Aside from the law, Judge Ostberg has been an adjunct Professor at numerous Colleges and Universities, where she has taught Business Law, Family Law, Computer Law and Technology and developed numerous Paralegal Studies Programs. She received the Golden Key Award for Outstanding Professor, at Texas A & M University and Outstanding Public Schools Volunteer Service Award.
